A gadget is small tool such as a machine that has particular function but is often thought of as a novelty. The first ever gadget invented is the relay a remote control device in 1835 by JOSEPH HENRY.

We have grown so used to it that it becomes very difficult for us to think of daily life chores in the absence of machines. Gadgets have benefited every field of our world i.e.from kitchen to hospital etc.

The importance of gadgets in our lives:-

1) Gadgets increase our efficiency.

2) Gadgets make think compact.

3) They help in saving space.

4) Gadgets are encouraged to innovation and creativity.

Hence gadgets not only make our lives easier but also save our money and precious time. Buying a single gadget will give us function of many. This makes gadgets cheap and affordable.

Disadvantages of electronic gadgets

1) A small electronic gadget may seem harmless but the manufacture and disposal of these devices are hazardous effect on global environment.

2) Identity theft during online shopping and banking.

3) Violence is becoming common in youngsters.

4) Mental stress and aggression.
