ROBOTICS

ROBOTICS is the engineering discipline dealing with the design, construction, and operation of robots. Robot, any automatically operated machine that replaces human effort, though it may not resemble human beings in appearance or perform functions in a humanlike manner.

There are three laws of robotics,

1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.

2. A robot must obey the orders given to it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.

3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Now a day, Robot changed the structure of society and allowed for safer condition for labour because robots are capable for a variety of tasks which were humans cannot perform either due to danger or very hard work. The implementation of advanced robotics in military and NASA has changed the landscape of national defence and space exploration . Industry has benefited more from the expense of a robotic work force. Robots have taken over the duties of danger and hard jobs from humans and provide greater productivity.

By implementing robotics, the space program has been able to add many more missions there were several organisation which frequently uses the concept of robotics for their experiments . As for example, in mission " chandrayaan 2 " ISRO used pragyan robot for their emission which can help them for collecting the data ,photos etc . the medical industry has also developed robotic technology that gives doctors new abilities. The delicate work performed by a robot prevents the factor of human error are the chance of an disciplined action.

So I can say a ROBOTICS has a great importance in our society.
